{"id":34,"date":"2019-05-07T22:45:49","date_gmt":"2019-05-07T22:45:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.abigailmearns.com\/?p=34"},"modified":"2019-07-08T00:06:56","modified_gmt":"2019-07-08T00:06:56","slug":"professional-projects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.abigailmearns.com\/?p=34","title":{"rendered":"Professional Projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Development Centre Webpage <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Member of interdepartmental team managing the Birmingham page on the internal corporate online community<\/li>\n<li>Developed material regarding the staff, functions and amenities of office<\/li>\n<li>Detailed and photographed various points of interest in and around Birmingham city centre<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Office Social Committee<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Regularly collaborate with colleagues to organise and deliver employee engagement activities for more than 300 office staff<\/li>\n<li>Promoted an extremely successful Halloween themed employee event in October 2018<\/li>\n<li>Currently leading a beach-themed employee charity event for July 2019<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>New Online Resource<br \/>\n<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Involved as a champion for a new online resource for employees and customers<\/li>\n<li>Assisted in registration drives to encourage employees from across the whole of the business to create their personalised accounts and explore the resources available<\/li>\n<li>Platform is now used by every employee on a daily basis as it houses myriad resources from Learning and Development, Reward and Benefit, management guides, payslips, and news from around the business<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>HR App<br \/>\n<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Helped launch a new online HR app in 2015 through a phased introduction, eventually applying to the entire corporate estate<\/li>\n<li>Presented the HR app to delegates from around the business at our head office and recorded constructive criticism from these sessions to incorporate into the next phase of the project<\/li>\n<li>Developed and personally scripted, produced, edited, and narrated original online training videos for HR app which are still in use on the corporate eLearning app<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Knowledgebase <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborated with representatives from every team within HR Shared Services to develop a central knowledgebase, for use by firstline support call takers.
