2019 will be an amazing year for travel. In April/May of this year I went on the trip of a lifetime to Jordan, Israel and Greece. Then, literally within 12 hours of landing back in Birmingham, I was on a road trip to Edinburgh (with my trusty dog Scout by my side!) to celebrate a friend’s birthday.

July took me stateside to Florida. First stop was Cocoa Beach to visit family, but the second stop and main event was Swim Week in Miami.

I was one of 25 exclusive guests invited by the CEO herself to attend the first ever Swim Week event for swimwear brand Curvy Beach. High class hotel rooms, impressively good gift bags, and photo shoots on the beach were all thoroughly enjoyed, not to mention a side-trip to the famous Islas Canarias for a medianoche in a nod to the late Anthony Bourdain. I’m already looking forward to Swim Week 2020, and have no doubt Curvy Beach will make an even bigger splash in their second year at the event.

Traveling is done now until the winter holidays, when I will go to the beautiful snow covered mountains of Colorado for a family Christmas. Until then, I am switching gears and focusing on developing my professional life.
